for MIME RADIO, Chapter 9 -- Marsyas' Warning
MIME RADIO is a novel by Benjamin Seror in occassional chapters that follows five characters gathering in a Los Angeles bar named the Tiki Coco. Here, they organize a "Challenge the Reality Open Mic" evening together which eventually leads the crew to move together into a Hudson River valley house and pursue experiments in thought transmission devices and other tools for shifting reality.
The novel is orally written through performances which are transcribed and edited into a book to be published by the end of 2013. On Saturday at Dexter Sinister, Chapter 9 will be recorded, in which, Marsyas will warn the others of potential dangers their research might trigger.
